Senator Maria Collett recently paid a visit to the Mattie N. Dixon Community Cupboard, Inc. in Ambler to tour their renovated facilities and celebrate $100,000 in state grant funding.

“I fought to secure this funding because no one in our community should have to choose between putting food on the table and keeping a roof overhead,” Collett said in a post. “This grant will have an immediate impact in our community, making sure families can access fresh foods, menstrual products, cleaning supplies and other needed items to live healthy, dignified lives.”
