Melody’s Vietnam, a Vietnamese restaurant at 47 E Butler Avenue in Ambler, announced today that they are permanently closed.
Chef/owner Thanh Nguyen cited staff shortages and rising operational costs as reasons for the decision.
The restaurant first opened in 2019 under the name Melody’s Grillhouse.
From their announcement:
Dear valued patrons,
On this New Year’s Day, we extend our heartfelt wishes for joy, prosperity, and new beginnings.
It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the permanent closure of Melody’s Vietnam restaurant. Despite our unwavering commitment to serving you exceptional meals, we have faced insurmountable challenges, primarily stemming from a severe staff shortage and the relentless impact of inflation on our operational costs.
This decision has not been made lightly, and we are profoundly grateful for the years of support you have extended to us. The dedication of our staff and the loyalty of our customers have been the bedrock of our establishment. Unfortunately, the current circumstances have made it untenable for us to continue operating.
We want to express our deepest appreciation for the memories, laughter, and shared moments within our walls. It has been an honor to serve you, and we will cherish the relationships we’ve built.
As we bid farewell, we want to express our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support and the cherished moments we’ve shared. May the coming year bring you new culinary adventures and continued happiness.
Warm regards,
The Melody’s Vietnam Team
