Richard Anthony Rodriguez, 48, of California, was sentenced to 14 to 60 months in prison after pleading guilty to a felony charge of aggravated indecent assault without consent in connection with a 2024 incident at a residence in Fort Washington (Upper Dublin Township), The Reporter said.
The investigation began in November 2024 when a 24-year-old woman reported to Upper Dublin police that she had awakened to find Rodriguez indecently touching her while he was visiting the woman’s family.
“The victim also stated she felt confused because ‘she did not want that’ and ‘she did not know why Ricky would do that to her,’” Upper Dublin Detective Michael T. Scarpato wrote in the arrest affidavit.
Rodriguez was ordered to complete three years of probation consecutive to parole and faces a lifetime requirement to report his address to state police to comply with Pennsylvania’s Sexual Offender Registration and Notification Act.
Other charges of sexual assault and indecent assault were dismissed against Rodriguez as part of the plea agreement, The Reporter said.
