Two secure ballot drop boxes will open in Upper Dublin Township on Friday, September 18 for the 2026 General Election. The first drop box location is at the Upper Dublin Library, located on 520 Virginia Drive in Fort Washington. The second can be found at the Upper Dublin Magisterial District Court at 1301 S. Bethlehem Pike in Ambler. Instead of mailing a ballot through USPS, voters can deliver absentee or mail-in ballots to one of these locations. The ballot boxes will open at noon.

After opening, the secure ballot boxes will be available 24/7 until polls close at 8 p.m. on Election Day (Tuesday, November 3). Only ballots issued by Montgomery County can be delivered at these drop boxes. According to Upper Dublin Township, ballots are collected from the boxes daily and stored safely at the Voter Services office.

Before dropping off a ballot, voters must ensure that their ballot is placed inside a sealed secrecy envelope. Then, they must put the secrecy envelope inside an official return envelope and complete the Voter’s Declaration on the back of the official envelope. Otherwise, their vote will not be counted in the election.
