Ambler Yards announced today that a new restaurant from the owners of The Pizza Box will open at the campus this fall. The restaurant will be known as The Lunch Box and will serve a variety of hot and cold platters, sandwiches, salads, and Italian specialties. It will initially only be open for lunch and will have indoor and outdoor seating. The Lunch Box will fill the 1,500 square foot space that previously was home to ‘feine.

As AroundAmbler.com reported in March of this year, Station Partners, the group behind the redevelopment of Ambler Yards, has purchased several adjacent properties in downtown Ambler and plans to raze the existing structures and redevelop the property into a mixed-use development with residential apartments or townhomes above retail.

One of the tenants of the properties involved in this plan is The Pizza Box, which will be given preference if they choose to lease space in the new mixed-use development.

Station Partners plans to seek approvals for this proposed redevelopment so that it could begin construction in 2023. No plans have yet to be submitted.

Ambler Yards is pleased to announce the addition of its newest tenant, ‘The Lunch Box’.  The Lunch Box will be owned and operated by the same family who own the Pizza Box in downtown Ambler.  Ambler yards will be their third location, in addition to downtown Ambler they also have a Pizza Box restaurant in Glenside.  The Lunch Box will be a 1,500 Sq. ft. café with indoor and outdoor seating in the space formerly occupied by Feine Coffee.  A fall opening is planned.  The menu will feature The menu will feature a variety of hot and cold platters, sandwiches, salads and Italian specialties.  Hours of operation will be mainly at lunchtime but may be expanded.  The Lunch Box and Pizza Box are family owned and operated.  They look forward to serving the Ambler Yards Campus and will be open to the general public as well.   There is ample parking at Ambler Yards, and a park like setting that everyone can enjoy.
