Number of positive tests for Coronavirus in Montgomery County nears 1,000

Montgomery County officials reported today that there are 101 new positive tests for Coronavirus. The county total is now 989 cases.

There have also been four additional deaths. The latest victims are an 86-year-old male from Upper Merion Township, a 57-year-old female from Abington Township, an 82-year-old male from Upper Gwynedd Township, and an 86-year-old male from Upper Dublin Township. There have now been 22 total deaths.

The latest local numbers are:

  • Ambler is at 16, which is the same than yesterday
  • Lower Gwynedd is at 17, which is three more than yesterday
  • Upper Dublin is at 32, which is the same as yesterday
  • Whitpain is at 24, which is two more than yesterday
