Tonight, beginning at 5 pm, there will be a peace gathering, march and prayer vigil for the victims of the Orlando Massacre. Organized and sponsored by the Ambler Area Coalition for Peace, the Wissahickon Faith Community Association, many of the faith communities of Ambler, Heeding God’s Call, and CeaseFirePA, the event includes stops at 3 churches and a press conference on Butler Pike.
This Wednesday, June 15th, in Ambler:
- 5:00 -6:00pm: Join the Ambler Area Coalition for Peace and fellow community members for a Pre-March Gathering in the parking lot on the south side of Butler Pike, between Lindenwold and Race Streets
- 6:00 pm: Gather for short prayers outside of Calvary United Methodist Church (16 E Park Ave)
- 6:10 pm: Walk to First Presbyterian Church Of Ambler (4 S Ridge Ave at Butler Pike)
- 6:20 pm: Gather for short prayers in front of First Presbyterian Church
- 6:30 pm: Walk east on Butler Pike. Stop at gathering area for press conference, sponsored by Heeding God’s Call
- 6:50 pm: Walk to Church of the Brethren (351 E Butler) via Butler Avenue
- 7:00 pm: Inter-faith Service inside the Ambler Church of the Brethren
