The Pet of the Week is a Domestic Short Haired cat with a mustache named Mario.  Mario’s family writes:

This is Mario. Mario is 10 year old lovable DSH cat. He was abandoned in a park with 6 other litter mates when they were 2 weeks old. My cousin was fostering them for a pet rescue. My older son was helping with fostering and fell in love with Mario. All of Mario’s litter mates got wonderful homes. Mario loves being with family and his other household animal friends. One of the unique things about Mario, other than his mustache, is his wonderful hugs. Mario will “meow” to be picked up, wraps his paws gently around your neck and nuzzles your ear. He also loves to watch television- mostly action movies. He can often be seen sitting in the window of his Ambler borough home, watching over the flower garden and the people who walk down the street to Butler. We feel so blessed to share our home with such a special cat.
