The Ambler Borough Police Department is seeking the public’s help to identify suspects in a case involving retail theft from the CVS in the borough. The department has dubbed the duo as the “Birthday Bag Bandits.”

According to a notice from the department, officers responded to the store on April 3rd at approximately 8:30 p.m. when there was a call that a retail theft was underway. The two suspects reportedly used birthday bags they obtained at the store to carry out approximately $1,200 in merchandise. Upon exiting the store they departed in a dark colored four door sedan. The suspects are believed to have committed a similar crime at a second CVS in Richboro on the same day. In Richboro, they were able to steal $4,000 in merchandise.
