Police investigating identity theft and fraud connected to an Ambler resident’s compromised credit card

The Ambler Borough Police Department is investigating a case involving identity theft and access device fraud. The case began when a resident of Ambler reported that his card was fraudulently used at multiple Quick Chek locations in New Jersey during the month of June 2020. The fraudulent charges totaled $660.36. The Ambler resident believes the card was compromised while he was at Manco and Manco’s in Ocean City.

Surveillance video of the suspects shows them operating a black Ford F-150 with silver rocker trim, a distinguishable toolbox, and several distinguishable stickers on the rear tailgate. Employees of Quick Chek stated that the suspects were in possession of numerous cards when they came into the store.
