An Ambler Borough police officer shot a man after officers responded to a report of a man with a knife near the intersection of Forest Avenue and School Street on Saturday, April 26th, at approximately 7:30 p.m.

A report by WissNow.com offered that the man refused to drop the knife and stated he wanted to die.

6ABC Action News reported on the shooting. According to that report, no officers were injured, and the man was transported to a local hospital. The man’s condition is unknown.
