Rep. Dean published an opinion piece in Newsweek titled ‘Bad Bondi’s Disgraceful Performance’

Representative Madeleine Dean, who represents Pennsylvania’s 4th congressional district, published an opinion piece yesterday in Newsweek titled “Bad Bondi’s Disgraceful Performance“.

The article discusses Attorney General Pam Bondi’s comments during a February 11 oversight hearing of the House Judiciary Committee to discuss the Jeffrey Epstein files.

“Ms. Bondi repeatedly raised her voice to an unprofessional yell, spewing vile insults toward Members of Congress,” Dean wrote, citing examples directed towards Representative Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), Representative Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.), and Representative Ted Lieu (D-Calif.).

“Any attorney displaying such brazenly unprofessional behavior in the courtroom would be held in contempt, suspended or even disbarred,” Dean wrote. “It goes against everything we are taught in law school—in addition to common sense and professional decorum.”

Dean concluded the piece by suggesting Bondi should be “fired, or resign immediately.”
