American Rock Mechanics sent a notice to the neighborhoods surrounding the Mattison Estates Project, informing of upcoming, controlled drilling and blasting which is set to start on Monday, April 8th. The blasting is supposed to last two months, from sunrise to sunset, and a series of horns will be blown one minute prior to and as a warning of the blasts.

There will also be a long blast signaling all clear conditions. Residents are warned they may feel vibrations during the blasts, and promise the air overpressure resulting from the blasts will present no threat of damage to surrounding structures. The company will also exercise control of noxious gasses so there is no threat to the safety and health of individuals. It is suggested to all neighbors that children stay well away from the area.
