The Rite Aid at 1201 S. Bethlehem Pike in Ambler is included among a new list of 18 nationwide closures as part of its ongoing bankruptcy proceedings, PennLive.com reported.

In May, the company announced that “it is pursuing a strategic and value-maximizing sale process for substantially all of its assets” and is in talks with multiple potential buyers.

Rite Aid previously announced it would close 1,184 stores. The Dreshertown Plaza location closed in December 2023.
