In August, Whitpain Township will begin its annual road resurfacing project.
 
Approximately five miles of roads will be resurfaced this year. The listing of roads to be resurfaced includes:

Second Ave.

Clearview Ave. from Township Line Road (south) to Thayer Dr. 
Beechnut Dr.
Talbot Rd.
Green Tree Rd.
Winchester Dr.
Hickory Dr.
Arlington Rd.   
Juniper Dr.
Vernon Rd.
Hemlock Dr. 
Chalk  Ave. 
White Oak Rd.
Cross Lane
Sycamore Place
Pheasant Meadow Rd.
Butternut Cir.
Kurt  Dr.  
Boxwood Lane 
 
As with any paving operation, this work is very weather dependent, and some streets listed on this year’s schedule may not be resurfaced until 2020 if Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate.

Residents and motorists can expect to see crews prepping roadways on this year’s schedule in June and July. Prep work includes curb-line milling, manhole repairs, inlet repairs, and crack sealing.
