Sen. Collett announces grant awards for Family Promise Montco of Ambler and Montgomery, Lower Gwynedd, and Whitpain townships

Senator Maria Collett of Fort Washington announced multiple Local Share Account (LSA) and Act 13 grant awards for infrastructure projects in the Ambler area.

Those grants include:

  • Montgomery County Redevelopment Authority – $250,000 to install a new fire suppression system at the Family Promise Montco, PA facility located in Ambler Borough.
  • Montgomery Township Municipal Sewer Authority – $300,000 for the re-insulation of Tank B at the Eureka Wastewater Treatment Plan in Montgomery Township.
  • Lower Gwynedd Township – $750,000 for the construction of a new public works facility.
  • Whitpain Township – $100,000 to construct a new community center.

“When we invest in key infrastructure projects like these, we’re investing in a safer, healthier future where all of us can thrive,” Collett said. “I was proud to work alongside state and local partners to secure this funding and ensure our roadways are intact, our utility systems are repaired, and our first responders have the resources they need to protect our communities.”
