As of September 25th, the Montgomery County COVID-19 data hub reports that the 14-day PCR positivity rate for Coronavirus in the county is 2.43%. This dips just below the previous low of 2.45% on August 10th. Having this number below 5% is considered to have the virus under control.
Montgomery County’s hub also shows that there were 42 new cases reported on September 29th, 33 on September 30th. The total number of cases countywide since the start of the pandemic is now 12,068.
Montgomery County reported a death due to Coronavirus on September 30th. There were a total of six deaths in September, one less than the seven reported in August. There were 21 deaths in July, and 106 in June. This brings the total number of deaths countywide since the start of the pandemic to 833.
The number of confirmed deaths tied to a long term care facility is 690 or 83%.
As of September 30th at noon, the state reports that there were 29 patients in Montgomery County hospitals due to Coronavirus. Eight patients require a ventilator.

The most recent 14-day average of the number of cases is 100 less than the 14-days prior. The most recent seven-day average is 18 more than the previous seven days.

- Ambler is at 171 cases, which is no change since September 28th. There have been 16 deaths
- Lower Gwynedd is at 192, which is three more than since September 28th. There have been 35 deaths
- Upper Dublin is at 309 cases, which is six more than since September 28th. There have been 17 deaths
- Whitpain is at 207 cases, which is no change since September 28th. There have been 15 deaths
