Upper Dublin High School Art teachers Ms. Crystal Dunn and Mr. Steven
Hopkins recently announced that nine students juried and three placed in the 35th Annual PSEA Touch The Future Art Exhibit this year.

Upper Dublin students won the following categories:

● First Place: Best in Show: Rowan Blankenmeyer, 12th grade, Jelly Print Book
● First Place: 3-D Functional – Alex McCauley, 12th grade, Wood Bowl
● First Place: TRADITIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY – Xinhan Chen, 12th grade, City

Other juried students with artwork represented are:

● 3-D Piece: Jake Motley, Ethan Weggel, and Sofia DaCosta
● Watercolor Painting: Leah Molyneaux
● 2-D Black and White: Ella Clayton and Sophia Cho

The show will be open to the public at Montgomery County Community College from February 27th through March 26th. The Opening Ceremony is Sunday, February 27th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with the Awards Presentation at 2:00 p.m. at the Health Sciences Center for students, parents, teachers, and the public.

The show is sponsored by PSEA’s Midwestern Region (PSEA/MER) and the Council for Advancement of Public Schools (CAPS), and wouldn’t be possible without the support of the Montgomery County Community College.
