On September 14th, Temple Ambler will host a stargazing event called, Reach for the Stars. All are welcome to join fellow stargazers under dark skies to celebrate the stars and the planets, and learn a little bit along the way.
You will look for various objects in the sky and learn how to tell one from the other. You will also highlight the importance of dark skies to animals and the environment and learn how you can help keep the skies dark.
Learn how to tell the difference between Mars, Jupiter and Saturn from distant stars in the night sky. Temple Ambler is hosting this special stargazing event in cooperation with the Bucks-Mont Astronomical Association, the Delaware Valley Amateur Astronomers and Montgomery County Community College’s Astronomy program. All skill levels are welcome.
