The Ambler Art Collective to Host a Fundraiser for Future Co-Op Gallery

The Ambler Art Collective, which will be located at 133 South Main Street, is in the process of acquiring their nonprofit status and is inviting the community to a fundraiser to help the process along.

There will be a chance to see the prospective space before it is renovated, and also see plans for the future Artist co-op gallery including: 6-7 rental art studios and an art education area that will be “dedicated to providing the community a welcoming place to learn, produce, display, engage with and sell and buy local art and a place for artists to hang out and network.”

The Art Collective is hoping to open in the Fall and is looking for people who are interested in being on the non-profit board of directors, as well as artists who would like to be a part of the co-op gallery, rent studio space, educate and/or help with planning in general.

The fundraising event will be held on May 20th from 1-5pm and is $10 per person. Children under 7 are free and are welcome to create at a free kid’s craft table where they can make bird masks, flower and butterfly cards and kites.
