The first new apartment community in Ambler in 50 years is set to open in the fall of 2022

The Crossings at Ambler Station, the first new apartment community in the Borough of Ambler in 50 years, is preparing to open in the fall of 2022. The 114-unit community broke ground in 2020 and is located at 250 East Maple Avenue.

Once completed, The Crossings at Ambler Station will offer one and two-bedroom apartments ranging from 669 square feet to 1,155 square feet that are pet friendly. According to the announcement, “Each apartment will feature exquisite finishes, including stainless steel appliances, wood-plank style flooring, oversized walk-in closets, unique lighting accents, and a washer and dryer.”

“I am so grateful Summit Realty was committed to getting this project approved,” said Liz Wahl Kunzier, manager of Ambler Main Street. “It’s a testament to their unwavering dedication and vision. People are dying to come live in Ambler, but we need apartments for them. I couldn’t be more thrilled about The Crossings at Ambler Station.”

“Being the first new apartment development in Ambler in over 50 years, we had a unique opportunity to establish a new standard for apartment living in the Borough,” explained John Zaharchuk, principal of Summit Realty Advisors. “We wanted to create an environment that would provide our residents with a living experience unlike any other within the Ambler community.”

The announcement also details the amenities that will be offered within the community. There will be a health-club-style fitness center, numerous common areas for socializing, a bark park and pet washing station, a car wash, package room, and a 23,000 square foot Village Green landscaped outdoor space. For those working from home, there will be access to conference spaces and Zoom rooms. The marketing will also focus heavily on the proximity to Ambler Train Station and the restaurants and shops in downtown Ambler.

“We are incredibly excited to be part of this awesome new project that Ambler has needed for a long time,” shared Jessica Scully, president of Scully Company, which will professionally manage the community, and handle all resident programming and customer service. “It’s a perfect location for development. People will be in walking distance of all Ambler has to offer, even though the community is so well planned they may never want to leave it.”
