‘The Wall That Heals’, Vietnam Veterans Memorial replica, on display in Montgomery Township July 10-13

The Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services announced in December that “The Wall That Heals” will be on display in Montgomery Township from July 10 to July 13.

The Wall is a 3/4-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial which honors over three million Americans who served in the U.S. Armed forces in the Vietnam War.

The Wall, along with a mobile Education Center, will be at Windlestrae Park, open 24 hours a day and free to the public during the four-day span.

Police announced that The Wall will be escorted through Whitpain Township today along DeKalb Pike from East Norriton to Lower Gwynedd.

“There is not an official viewing station in Whitpain but for anyone who wishes to view the escort and show their support to our Veterans, there will be two flag arches displayed; one at St. Helena and one at Montgomery County Community College,” Whitpain police said.
