Do you have a garden overflowing with tomatoes and are running out of things to do with them? Pennypack Farm and Education Center is offering a Tomato Canning class on Wednesday, August 10th, from 7 pm to 8:30 pm. The class takes place at the Resurrection Lutheran Church at 620 Welsh Rd in Horsham.

Join Beth Miller, Master Food Perserver, as she walks us through the basics of safely canning one of the jewels of the summer harvest. In this demonstration class, you will learn how to prepare the tomatoes, load them into jars and safely process them using research-tested methods using either a pressure cooker or a boiling water canner.
The event is $10 per person and requires registration.
