Track 3 Microbrewery and Coffee House located at 1650 Limekiln Pike in Dresher, is the newest brewery to open in our area and first to introduce the concept of having a place to hang out all day…in the mornings offering locally roasted coffee and throughout the day ( taproom services start at 10:30am ) offering house brewed craft beers….hence a Microbrewery and Coffee House.
We had a chance to catch up with owner Joe Burdo who’s 15+ year passion for home coffee roasting and beer brewing has culminated into opening Track 3 Microbrewery and Coffee House. All of Track 3 beers are brewed on premises, and all coffee is supplied by Ambler’s Wake Coffee, but even more than that, Joe wants Track 3 to be ” a place to come throughout the day with friends and enjoy the local community of Upper Dublin and beyond…”
Track 3 boasts 5-7 barrel fermenters in its brewer space, and because of this teams love of music, each beer is named after track #3 of albums they love. For example and on tap now are:
- Sweet Emotion | New England IPA | ABV 6.6%
- Message in a Bottle | Stout | ABV 7.5%
- Set the Controls | New England Double IPA | ABV 8.0%
- Whiter Shade of Pale | Pale Wit Ale | ABV 4.2%
- Alive | Cold Brew Coffee IPA | ABV 7.9%
They even offer coffee and beer pairings like Alive ( listed above) and the next to-be-released brew Upper Dublin Cardinal Sin which pairs Message in a Bottle Stout with a cold shot of espresso. We should also mention that Track 3 Microbrewery and Coffee House is outside-food friendly.
Track 3 Microbrewery and Coffeehouse had its soft opening last week and is gearing up for their official Grand Opening next Saturday, May 18th. The public is invited to enjoy live music by local Calla Bere and the Attitude, enjoy the beers on tap listed above plus one or two new beers, andenjoy local community.
