On August 23rd Nicole Cadwalader, the Ambler woman who is on trial for first and third degree murder and related charges surrounding the death of her grandmother (see article here), was found incompetent to stand trial at this time.  Cadwalader is currently at the State Hospital and there is another hearing set for January, where her competency will be evaluated in greater detail.

AroundAmbler.com spoke with a representative from the District Attorney’s office who said:

“The defendant has presently been determined incompetent to stand trial, and her status will be reviewed in January for an update as to her condition.”
