Upper Dublin School District Ranks in the Top 100 School Districts in Pennsylvania

The Upper Dublin School District is pleased to announce it has been ranked among the top 100 school districts in the Commonwealth. The District has been ranked #13.

The following data contributed to the ranking: number of students (K-12), graduation rate, teacher quality, school funding, student to teacher ratio, standardized test results (reading and math; the percentage of students scoring at or above state proficiency level). Data from a total of 10,728 school districts had sufficient values for the aforementioned variables.

Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Steve Yanni, commented “As with any ranking, we take time to analyze and reflect upon the strengths and areas of opportunity for our District. While we appreciate this ranking, and other rankings bestowed upon Upper Dublin, we are cognizant that standardized test scores and the accompanying ratings do not tell our full District story. Prior to the start of the 2019-2020 school year we plan to release a comprehensive tool that captures not only objective measures of success but other student, staff, and District successes as well.”

In addition to this ranking, US News & World Report ranked Upper Dublin High School #54 in Pennsylvania and #1445 across the Nation.
