Upper Dublin School District has one of the highest paid professional staff in the state, reported The Philadelphia Business Journal.
According to the most recent available PDE data, the district ranks third in the state with an average salary of $107,100.
Five other Philadelphia-area school districts pay staff more than $100,000 per year on average: Colonial, Upper Merion Area, Lower Moreland Township, Wissahickon and Centennial. The lowest paying district in the Philadelphia area is Pottstown in at $70,400 and Oxford Area in Chester County at $70,700.
Bucks has the best-paid staff in the state by county ($94,200) and Montgomery County is second at $92,300.
The Journal noted that “a number of factors influence professional staff and administrator pay, including the length of service for those employed.”
