Up for election in 2023 are seats on municipal boards and councils in Ambler, Lower Gwynedd Township, Whitpain Township, and Upper Dublin Township, along with the Wissahickon and Upper Dublin school boards, and the entire Montgomery County government.

Borough of Ambler

There are four seats are up for election on Ambler’s borough council. Voters in Ward 1 will vote for one seat, voters in Ward 2 will vote for one seat, and voters in Ward 3 will vote for two seats. Frank DeRuosi who represented Ward 1, recently resigned from office and thus will be replaced by appointment in January of 2023. We have not seen any announcements on anyone’s intentions about seeking re-election or running.

Lower Gwynedd Township

There are two seats up for Lower Gwynedd’s Board of Supervisors. All of the supervisor seats are voted on an at-large basis. We have not seen any announcements on anyone’s intentions about seeking re-election or running.

Whitpain Township

There are two seats up for Whitpain’s Board of Supervisors. All of the supervisor seats are voted on an at-large basis. We have not seen any announcements on anyone’s intentions about seeking re-election or running.

Upper Dublin Township

There are four seats up for election on Upper Dublin’s Board of Commissioners (Wards 1, 3, 5, and 7). Ward 1’s current commissioner, Liz Ferry, has announced that she is running for Montgomery County Commissioner. Otherwise, we have not seen any announcements on anyone’s intentions about seeking re-election or running.

Wissahickon School Board

There are five seats up for election on the Wissahickon School Board. We have not seen any announcements on anyone’s intentions about seeking re-election or running.

Upper Dublin School Board

There are five seats up for election on the Upper Dublin School Board. We have not seen any announcements on anyone’s intentions about seeking re-election or running.

Montgomery County

Up for election are the three county commissioner seats and all of the row offices like the district attorney, recorder of deeds, treasurer, sheriff, coroner, etc.
