On Friday, January 29th at 7 pm, participate in a discussion at the Wissahickon Valley Watershed headquarters regarding the disappearance of Bats from the Northeast.
From the WVWA Website:
Join Todd Sinander, Senior Biologist at Bat Conservation and Management, Inc., as he discusses the alarming decrease in the bat population in the northeast, highlighting white-nose syndrome and how it decimates the native bat species. Why is this important to all of us? Bats are indicator species because changes to their population can indicate changes in aspects of biodiversity.
