The Montgomery County Office of Public Health has scheduled adult mosquito control from 8:00pm – 11:00pm on Thursday, August 28 at Windlestrae Park in Montgomery Township.

All areas within the highlighted sections of the map below will be sprayed, officials said. Residents within the spray area should consider remaining indoors, closing windows, and turning off ventilation systems that draw outside air for the duration of the spray plus 30 minutes afterward.

Workers will be using Duet® Duel-Action Adulticide at a rate of 0.75 fluid ounces per acre applied with an ATV mounted Ultra Low Volume (ULV) sprayer. The spray will be performed by OPH personnel, the announcement said.

A reminder that a section of Whitpain Township will be sprayed tonight.
