Wissahickon School Board votes to return to pre-November 23rd learning options on December 7th

During the Wissahickon School Board meeting on November 30th, the board voted to authorize the return to an in-person learning option starting next Monday, December 7th. The Montgomery County Board of Health voted in November to require all schools in the county to operate virtually for two weeks starting November 23rd.

With the vote by the Wissahickon board, all students will return to the learning program they were participating in prior to November 23rd (meaning virtual or in-school instruction).

To continue offering in-school instruction, the Wissahickon School District will now have to comply with new requirements ordered by the Pennsylvania Department of Health involving masks and protocols when there are positive cases within a school building.
