Wissahickon School District seeks community members for school start time steering committee

As AroundAmbler.com reported, the Wissahickon School District is examining implementing later school start times that would begin in the 2023-24 school year. 

The district is now community members to join a School Start Times Steering Committee. Those on the committee will have the following role:

  • Help identify and explore the pros and cons of changing school start times in general
  • Help gauge and assess our community’s interest for changing school start times
  • Help identify and analyze Wissahickon-specific solutions to the logistical challenges for changing school start times

The steering committee may meet in the afternoons or evenings for virtual meetings as a committee at-large or as sub-committees.
