As AroundAmbler.com reported, the Wissahickon School District is examining implementing later school start times that would begin in the 2023-24 school year.
The district is now community members to join a School Start Times Steering Committee. Those on the committee will have the following role:
- Help identify and explore the pros and cons of changing school start times in general
- Help gauge and assess our community’s interest for changing school start times
- Help identify and analyze Wissahickon-specific solutions to the logistical challenges for changing school start times
The steering committee may meet in the afternoons or evenings for virtual meetings as a committee at-large or as sub-committees.
If you are interested in being considered for the committee, click the link below and complete the form by Wednesday, February 9th at 5:00 p.m.
