Meet Erin Gaul: Founder of Your Speech Path LLC in Lower Gwynedd

Erin Gaul, founder of Your Speech Path LLC in Lower Gwynedd, launched her practice in January 2017.

Your Speech Path LLC currently houses five speech therapists and one occupational therapist. Gaul, who specializes in orofacial myofunctional disorders and is a Certified Myofunctional Therapist, said the journey to her current office at 768 North Bethlehem Pike (Suite 301) began as a mobile practice.

“The last nine years have been slow, steady growth. Over time, I went from visiting clients’ homes to my own office. That slowly grew into a bigger office with more staff, and last year, I added occupational therapy,” she said. “We’re very niche. I offer motor speech treatment, I and another therapist specialize in orofacial myofunctional disorders, and two of my SLP’s specialize in lactation and feeding.”

Gaul noted she’s also certified in PROMPT©, which is a tactile kinesthetic approach.

“I’m one of two therapists in Pennsylvania that are certified,” she said, adding that she and one of Your Speech Path’s SLPs are certified myofunctional therapists as well.

A two-time breast cancer survivor before the age of 40, Gaul had to take a pair of medical leaves in 2022 and 2025.

“My staff kept everything running and I returned to a thriving practice,” she said. “Everyone pulled their weight and I never had to worry. I think that’s a huge compliment to the people I hire.”

Your Speech Path accepts clients of all ages but is primarily pediatrics with a side of myofunctional therapy for adults.

“We’re a personal, small practice and we really know our kids. It’s not a therapy factory, and I like to think that parents respond to our intimate approach. We try to provide catered attention to all of our clients,” Gaul said.

A Schwenksville native, Gaul currently lives in North Wales. She earned her Bachelors in Sociology/Deaf Studies at Rosemont College and her Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from Gallaudet University.
