The Whitpain Township Board of Supervisors has a work session meeting scheduled for October 6th at 6:00 p.m. at the township building. The main agenda item is a public hearing on a proposed ordinance to amend requirements for the R-3B Low-Intensity Multi-Family Zoning District and rezone the nearly 27-acre undeveloped property at 795 Jolly Road into that district.
From the agenda:
As advertised, the Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing and consider Ordinance No. 4-270, an Ordinance amending Chapter 160 (Zoning) to modify certain requirements for the R-3B Low Intensity MultiFamily Zoning District and amending the Zoning Map to designate 795 Jolly Road, Parcel No. 66-00-05130-01-5 as in the R-3B Zoning District.
The hearing stems from a broader discussion about how to allow more housing to be built to meet demand.
