Ambler-based Art in the Age was recently the focus of an article in The Philadelphia Business Journal. The article reported on the distiller’s spirits recently being added to the shelves of ten area Fine Wine and Good Spirits stores (including Ambler and Flourtown) and its plans for further expansion.
From the article:
The spirits company’s Siege of Wolves Spiced Rum and Dunce Bourbon Whiskey officially hit shelves at 10 Fine Wine and Good Spirits stores in Philadelphia, Flourtown, Doylestown, Ambler and Ardmore on Dec. 9. Now owner Steven Grasse is focused on growing the company’s sales in state liquor stores and Greater Philadelphia bars and restaurants in the coming year.
Further in the article:
Art in the Age will also look to open its own five retail locations, permitted with its Pennsylvania distilling license, in the new year. Grasse said those brick-and-mortars will likely be “a store within a store,” in partnership with businesses like large supermarkets and culinary boutiques.
Art in the Age makes its home at the Main Street Annex on North Main Street in Ambler. It has yet to offer an in-house tasting room, but its products can be found at Forest & Main Brewing Company and Tannery Run Brew Works in Ambler.
