On Monday, October 30th ( * Note the change from Friday, October 6th), Ambler Skate Shop will have a Grand Re-Opening as the new, Ambler Skate And Apparel, where they will carry their own brands, and add women’s apparel to their inventory.  They will also be printing Ambler Skate Shop driven tees.

Mike, the owner, remembers the original skate shop that was in this same location since the late 1970’s, and says there was always a grey cat that lived there with Norm, the owner at the time.  Serendipitously, the week that Mike opened Ambler Skate Shop in 2010, he rescued a little grey cat from the bushes at the shop, and kept and named him, “Shop Cat” to honor the original.  Mike told us that people come from all over just to meet Shop Cat, so they will also print an apparel line called, Mischief Over Money, which is based on the infamous Shop Cat.
