The 24th Annual Township Arbor Day Beautification Program is Sunday, April 29 at 8 a.m. at Prophecy Creek Park, and, in addition to trees, free mulch will be distributed to Whitpain Township residents.
The tree giveaway features a wide range of species and is sponsored by the Township Shade Tree Commission.
This event is one day only and will take place rain or shine. There is a limit of one group of three trees and one bag of mulch per address or household. Pre-registration is not required but homeowners are asked to present identification indicating Whitpain resident status.
