Danielle Korban and her business partner, Alyssa Nicolosi, launched Reauthor Counseling & Consulting in Ambler practice in June.

Korban, an Ambler resident, Dresher native, and Licensed Professional Counselor, said she met Nicolosi through an intensive outpatient program. Korban has a background in early childhood education and behavior consulting, and Nicolosi, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from Blue Bell, has worked extensively in trauma care.

Korban said she’d been keeping an eye on their current location at 322 East Butler Avenue and decided to pull the trigger once it became available.

“Everything fell into place from there. We really love Ambler,” she said. “Alyssa and I are really in the early stages of making connections and getting the word out. We’re offering sessions over the summer. We’re both really passionate about group sessions as well.”

Reauthor Counseling & Consulting offers individual, couple, and group therapy for teens and adults.

“We’re really trying to create more opportunities to do group therapy. We see a lot of benefits with that form of treatment,” Korban said. “Alyssa and I have a lot in common in terms of our clinical approach. I think our strengths are the ability to connect with our clients on a human level, and our various skillsets in terms of modalities. We like to find what works from one person to the next, which can be hard to find.

“Sometimes it can feel like you’re really alone, but you don’t have to be. It’s important for people to have the time and space to access themselves again,” she said.
