Barberella Beauty, located at 44 E Butler Avenue in Ambler, is shutting its doors for good on November 8.

According to the salon’s social media posts, ownership took a hard hit during the pandemic and has since struggled with rising costs, market conditions, and changes within the industry.

“Owning a small business is a labor of love and wide rollercoaster ride,” a post said. “When it’s good, it’s very, very good, and it’s bad, it’s rotten. Many of us owners suffer in silence (sometimes not so silently), carrying heavy mental and financial burdens to make our dreams a reality. So, I ask you to please continue to support small business owners whenever you are able–those who sacrifice so much themselves to deliver goods, services, and experiences. And please give them grace when needed.”
