Over two evenings, Friday, June 23rd and Friday, June 30th, you have the opportunity to make and glaze a ceramic basket at the Art Center at Ambler.

The first part, Making the Basket, is from 6 to 8 pm on the 23rd. The class is $30 plus a $10 materials fee, $40 for nonmembers.

From the Art Center at Ambler:

Using pre-made components, you will design and put together your own basket, guided by Savannah Kramer. If you wish, Savannah will finish your basket for you: you decide the look you want, choose your glaze and Savannah will glaze it for you… Pick up your finished basket in one week.

The second class, Glazing the Basket, is from 6 pm to 8 pm on June 30th. This class is $30 for members, $40 for nonmembers.

From the Art Center at Ambler:

Finish your own basket. You will sand and refine your bisque basket, choose your finish and apply glaze. Your finished basket will be fired and ready to pick up the following week.
