Chewy’s Restaurant recently opened at 924 North Bethlehem Pike in Spring House. It fills the space that was the longtime home of Rich’s Other Place.

The restaurant is currently open for dinner Wednesday through Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In the future, it will open for breakfast and lunch and will also offer a menu of pancakes, egg sandwiches, smoked brisket with eggs, smoked pork with eggs, thick-cut bacon, fried chicken and waffles, tater tots, and a variety of B.L. T.’s.

The dinner menu currently consists of the following:

Chewy’s brisket and pork are smoked with hickory wood for 12-plus hours, while the chicken is put into a sugar and salt brine for two days and then fried twice with a sweet and spicy honey Sriracha sauce. The shrimp taco has shrimp are Coastal Brown from New Orleans.
