The Philadelphia Business Journal recently reported that CoJourney Inc., a Chinese firm specializing in cell and gene therapy, has raised $30 million in equity financing that will be used to expand its operations at the Spring House Innovation Park in Lower Gwynedd, where its listed address is office space occupied by Exegenesis Bio.

“We are looking forward to growing our capabilities soon as there is a high demand for cell and gene therapy manufacturing, especially in the Philadelphia region,” Bhushan Surve, CoJourney’s senior director of business development, said. “We will start with small wet lab and from there we are going to expand into manufacturing.”
