An entity associated with Korman Communities, Ambler Main, LLC, has purchased the Deck’s Hardware property at 19 and 27 North Main Street in Ambler for $1.8 million. The hardware business was launched in 1908 and continued with the Deck family for over a century. The hardware business was closed at the end of 2023.

AroundAmbler.com asked Mark Korman, principal of Korman Communities and CEO of KCI Commercial, about the plan for the property, and he offered his love for Ambler and that particular corner of North Main Street. He pointed out that the opportunity to acquire a 1/2-acre property with a 30,000-square-foot building in Ambler is rare. Because of that, the company plans to take its time to make the right decision about the ultimate next use.
