Workshop Details Open to all, this free workshop will be held at 11am and repeated again at 2pm. Turntable Shootout What's holding the music in your record collection hostage? The cartridge, the turntable, or both? With a shootout between two different turntable setups, we’ll show you how to unlock the full potential of your music by allowing you to experience firsthand the significant difference the cartridge and the turntable can make in your listening experience. Enjoy a series of A/B tests and captivating demos. Record Care 101 A clean record is a happy record. For the second half of our workshop, we'll walk you through the best practices of caring for your vinyl and gear. From brushes to vacuums, to stylus care and more. The right maintenance will not only ensure you're getting the best sound out of your turntable and records, but it will substantially prolong the longevity of your gear and vinyl collection. Q&A Have questions about your turntable setup, cartridge, or stylus? Need some guidance on belt-drive vs. direct drive? Want to learn ways to reduce unwanted vibrations and resonance in your setup? Come prepped with your questions (feel free to even bring your turntable along). We’ll have a special guest from Rega onsite, along with our own turntable experts, to answer all your questions.
