If you live in the general area, chances are you have driven by 1320 East Butler Ave., have noticed the twinkling lights, and may even be one of the thousands of visitors who go for a stroll through the spectacular light show that Jack Yoast displays on his house and property each year. For most of us, it is a visit to the Yoast’s Acteon Light Up A Life that kicks off our holiday season and puts us in just the right spirit of giving.
AroundAmbler.com got an exclusive sneak peek at the whimsical light show, and a chance to talk to Jack about the inspiration behind his incredible display, and how he and his brother, Mike grew it into a holiday must-see spectacular and an opportunity to give back to their local community. Now in it’s 10th year, LUAL has grown exponentially, not only in the number of lights used (over 300,000), but also in visitors (over 35,000) and in donations (over $84,000), all of which go to local and worthwhile beneficiaries.
The Light Up A Life (LUAL ) foundation’s mission is to assist families in the Bucks and Montgomery County areas that are facing difficult times due to an illness or tragedy. This year, all donations will benefit The Kevin From Heaven Foundation:
“The Foundation’s mission is to honor Kevin, and his parents’ wishes, by providing assistance to those who are facing life altering events and who require assistance in overcoming the challenges they face.”
LUAL opens to the public on Friday, November 24th, and the hours are:
- Monday through Thursday: 6:00PM – 9:00PM
- Friday & Saturday: 5:45PM – 9:30PM
- Sunday: 5:30PM – 9:00PM

New this season, and to accommodate visitors that have mobility issues, LUAL will be offering chauffeured rides around the light show on our
new John Deere Gator. Gator rides run from 5:30-6:30pm and must be arranged in advance. Reserve your gator ride here.
