FBI, Montgomery Township police searching for armed robbery suspect, one of several 7-Eleven robberies in recent weeks

The FBI and the Montgomery Township Police Department are seeking help in identifying two suspects involved in an armed robbery at a 7-Eleven on Horsham Road early Sunday morning.

According to The Reporter, an employee told police a male dressed in all black pointed a handgun at him and demanded he open two cash registers.

A second suspect, also dressed in black, stood at the entry door as a lookout. Both fled on foot toward the rear of the store with cash.

According to Montgomery Township Police’s social media post Monday, the first suspect is a 20 to 30 years old, over six feet tall and heavyset, and last seen wearing a black ski mask, a black hoodie, neon yellow shoes, black sweatpants with a white stripe on the side, and black sneakers “with a white line that goes from heel to toe.”

The second suspect was described by police as a 20 to 30 years old, six feet tall, of average build, and last seen wearing a black mask and black hoodie with a white triangle design.

According to the Philadelphia division of the FBI, the incident is one of several armed robberies at 7-Eleven stores in recent weeks.

A reward is being offered for information leading to their arrests, and tipsters can remain anonymous. In addition to local police, anyone with information on these robberies or these subjects is asked to call the FBI at (215) 418-4000 or go to tips.fbi.gov.
