WVPL Blue Bell branch temporarily closing and relocating

The Blue Bell branch of the Wissahickon Valley Public Library (WVPL) will be closed from October 1 through October 19 while staff prepare for renovations. The library will reopen in a temporary location at 960 C Harvest Drive in Blue Bell on October 20. The library is expected to remain there for at least six months while work occurs.

Any new holds should be sent the Ambler branch of the WVPL, or to any MCLINC library to be picked up. As for existing holds that have already been assigned for pickup at the Blue Bell library, they will still be sent to Blue Bell and will be available according to the normal hold process. For more information, visit the library’s web page here: https://www.wvpl.org/main-library-renovation-updates-information.

The original library will undergo many improvements during this time, including a roof replacement, repaved parking lot, updated sewer system and creation of new indoor study spaces.
