Friday, May 5th, is this season’s first Ambler First Friday and at the temporary Ambler offices of the Weavers Way Co-op there will a tasting event including local kombucha from Baba’s Brew, local hard cider from Three Springs Fruit Farm and “hyper-local” beer from Tannery Run Brew Works.People will have a chance to sample Tannery Run’s signature split batch method beers. They will have 2 splits for tasting for a total of 4 beers to try.
Tannery Run Brew Works is the brain child of Amblerites Mac Comly, Tim Brown and Carly Chelder. We spoke with Chelder on Friday and asked her how she felt about introducing her Brewery to Ambler.
“We’re so happy to be doing the tasting in collaboration with Weavers Way, she said. I’ve been working for nearly 5 year to help the coop along, and now to have the brewery following suit…I simply couldn’t be happier”.
