Xavier Stearn, a rising senior quarterback at Germantown Academy in Fort Washington, was featured in an article by The Philadelphia Inquirer titled “Xavier Stearn is bound for Rutgers. But first the Germantown Academy QB has a record to chase.”
According to the story, Stearn recently committed to Rutgers and is looking to break the Inter-Academic League’s career passing yardage record. He has thrown for 4,516 yards and needs 1,657 to break it.
“I’ve pretty much broken everything at GA,” Stearn told The Inquirer. “That would be a big goal for me, just because the Inter-Ac is such a prestigious league that’s been around for a while. I feel like that would be really special, to break it. Especially in my senior year.”
He was also profiled by The Inquirer in September 2024.
