Morning housefire in Upper Dublin leaves one dead, one hospitalized

Multiple fire companies were dispatched this morning to a housefire with entrapment at 900 Bellare Avenue in Upper Dublin Township.

6ABC reported that one person has died, and Emergency Alerts of Southeastern Pennsylvania reported that a victim was removed from the house and has been transported to Temple Health Center.

Crews encountered “heavy fire from the rear” and “have all hands working, multiple lines in service on all floors,” EASP’s post said.

According to Horsham ChATs, the Horsham Fire Company was dispatched to assist the Fort Washington Fire Company No. 1. Engine 88, Engine 88-1, Squad 88, Squad 88-1, Rescue 88, Tower 88, Tower 33, Ladder 400, Engine 500, Ladder 6, Ladder 62, Ladder 7, Engine 7, Engine 700-2, Engine 80, and Snorkel 82 were dispatched.

“Expect delays and road closures for the next hour or more,” their post said.
